Baby-Mix-Feeder: even more flexible, comfortable and powerful

Förster-Technik redesigned Baby-Mix-Feeder (BMF), the liquid feeding system for weaners. The control has a completely new concept, the previous pump was replaced by a more powerful proprietary development with stainless steel wheel.

Feeding 1.500 piglets up to a weight of 30 kilograms

The BMF can now be equipped with eight valve units with eight valves each. In this way 64 troughs can always be provided with freshly prepared warm feed. This is sufficient to feed 1.500 piglets up to a weight of 30 kilograms. To meet the age-dependent requirements, the BMF offers pen-specific feeding plans facilitating multiphase feeding with gentle conversion to cold feed. The BMF allows to feed five feed types and two additives according to individual feeding plans.

Powerful control

The control has become more powerful and the ease of use has been continually improved: the menu navigation is now almost self-explanatory. Animal data and device data are keyed in and checked on the flexible hand-held terminal with 8-row display. The control is equipped with an interface for the PC through which data are read out and remote maintenance as well as software updates are carried out.

Animal data and device data can also be checked and modified during feeding at any time. The „intelligent sensor feeding“ delivers via sensors information about the feeding behaviour of the individual animal groups and determines subsequently the feeding time and frequency for each individual group. This means that the animals can take in much feed without wasting it and overeating.
