What is the maximum distance between feeding station and automatic feeder?

Feeding station and automatic feeder have to be located as close as possible. In case of young, unpractised calves the length of the suction hose should not exceed 3 m. Whereas, in case of older, practised calves you may use a suction hose with up to 5 m length. As of 3 resp. 5 m we recommend a servo-control (available as an accessory, up to a maximum of 8 m).
