What is the maximum distance between automatic feeder and feeding station(s)?

Feeding station and calf feeder should be located as close as possible. In case of young, unpractised calves the length of the suction hose should not exceed 3 m. Whereas, in case of older, practised calves you may use a suction hose with up to 5 m length. As of 3 resp. 5 m we recommend a servo-control (available as an accessory, up to a maximum of 8 m).
