40 years automatically better
|
Engen, 01. Oktober 2011 - Förster-Technik GmbH, the leading global manufacturer of automatic calf feeders, will celebrate its 40th birthday this year. Under the motto "Automatisch besser" ("Automatically better"), the South German, family-owned company has been an innovative provider of systems for young animal feeding and pasteurisation since 1971. |

Automatic feeders were first introduced to the market in the early 1970s. As early as 1980, Förster-Technik presented the first automatic feeding system which was controlled by feeding computers of renowned milking and cattle feeding system manufacturers. The ultimate breakthrough came in 1989 with the introduction of the first stand-alone automatic feeder which, thanks to being fitted with an integrated process computer, was able to independently execute all of the important calf feeding functions. In the mid-1990s, Förster-Technik then widened its market focus to include the liquid feeding of piglets. |
