Calf Fattening Plants with Central Feed Preparation

The TVM-System of Förster-Technik is aimed at large calf fattening plants with central feed preparation. TVM is the German abbreviation for Drink, Distribution and Measurement. Thanks to this system the feed, flowing through the pipeline in the stable, can be fed to the calves, divided into groups of approx. 40 animals each, via the well-known hose pumps and animal identification. In this way, up-to-date technology in the field of animal-specific feeding, builds up already existing feed preparation systems. The system is expandable with hardly any limit, i.e. you can use any number of TVM units per installation. The data are stored in a central PC working with Windows 95 or higher.

The well-known concentrate feeders of Förster-Technik can be connected to the TVM installations. This improves feed efficiency and ensures that no calf gets too much concentrate.
