Vario: The Premium calf feeding system from Förster-Technik

Vario stands for a new, flexible automatic feeder generation, which is mainly used in calf rearing. One to four feeding stations can supply up to 80 calves with feed. The automatic feeder is available as a Stand Alone or a computer-controlled feeder which has to be connected to a central feed computer. Vario is equipped with top-quality components and a high-end control which leaves nothing to be desired where flexibility and performance are concerned. That meets the highest requirements relating to saving of labour, animal health and animal development.

Operation via handheld terminal

Vario is operated via the hand-held terminal from Förster-Technik with 8-row display. Thanks to the control concept many well-tried functions can be flexibly used, such as e.g. automatic calibration, heating regulation controlled by feed temperature, hot water mixing system and parallel accustoming. Moreover, all peripheral devices, such as concentrate feeder, automatic fever measuring system and animal scales can be connected to the control system. An interface for the PC-program KalbManager is also available.

Highly efficient cleaning programs provide for hygiene in the milk supplying pipes and valves.
