Baby-Mix-Feeder

The Baby-Mix-Feeder (BMF) allows you to gently convert your weaned piglets from sow's milk to solid feed without performance losses. The dispensed portions are warm, digestible and always fresh. Different age groups can be provided with feed simultaneously without any difficulty.

Feeding 1,500 weaners up to a weight of 30 kg

The BMF can be equipped with eight valve units with eight valves each, i.e. up to 64 troughs can be provided with fresh and warm feed. That allows you to feed 1,500 piglets up to a weight of 30 kilograms. Piglets' age-specific needs are taken into consideration by pen-individual feeding plans which facilitate a multiphase feeding with gentle conversion to cold feed. Moreover, with the BMF you can feed five different feed types and two additives according to individual feeding plans.

High ease of use

Via a flexible hand-held terminal with 8-row display you can enter and check the animal and technical data. This ensures maximum user comfort, the menu navigation is almost self-explanatory. The control is equipped with an interface to the PC via which data can be read out and remote controls as well as software updates can be carried out.

High performing control for feed dispense in accordance with piglets' needs

The animal and technical data can be checked and changed at any time also during feeding. Via sensors the „Intelligent Sensor Feeding" provides information about the feeding behaviour of each individual animal group, thus determining the timing and frequency of feedings. That means the animals can take in a lot of feed without wasting it and overeating on it. Moreover, deviations can be entered per pen and the dispensed feed quantity can be adjusted dynamically depending on day time. This allows you to take the biologically predetermined diurnal rhythm of feed intake into account.
